Head Coach, Varsity
Tammy has been coaching volleyball for over 30 years, in addition to her career as an educator for 33 years. She recently retired from teaching, but will be starting her 9th season as the head Coach for Marquette. Over the years, she's experienced numerous successes on the court, including coaching 13 teams who've earned bids for the USA Volleyball Jr National Championships and over 150 wins for the Mustangs. Tammy is excited to use her knowledge and experience she has gained over the years to help drive the Marquette Volleyball Program to new levels, as well as help motivate and develop the student athletes for success beyond high school and volleyball. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys every moment she can with her two daughters (both MHS Volleyball alumni), her grandson, Hudson, as well as spending time with her two "doodle" dogs, friends and other family members. She also enjoys working out and traveling all over the Caribbean.
Varsity Assistant Coach
Andrew is employed by Rockwood School district as a building technician in the technology department. He has 4 years of coaching experience for HPSTL 16-18's. After a couple of season as the boys and girls varsity asst coach at Parkway North, he joined Marquette as the girls asst volleyball coach and the boys Varsity Volleyball head coach. As a player, Andrew was a 1st team all conference player for 3 years, 1st team all-state, and a state semi-finalist and district champion in 2014. Outside of volleyball he likes to work out and is a huge STL Blues fan!!
Varsity Assistant Coach
Kenzie is a preschool teacher at the JCC STL where is started working part time 4 years ago. Kenzie is also a MHS alumni and was a starting setter on Varsity for 3 of her 4 years. She earned first team All Conference, First team All District, and All State and Academic All State Awards. She also played volleyball competitively in club volleyball, winning 3 qualifiers in their 2016 season. This will be Kenzie's third year coaching at Marquette. She's excited to continue being part of the MHS volleyball program!
Junior Varsity Head Coach
Caitlin is a 7th grade language arts teacher at Selvidge Middle School in the Rockwood school district. She is a MHS alumni and was a starter in the volleyball program all 4 years as a defensive player, including being the libero her senior year. This will be Caitlin's third year coaching at Marquette. She's played competitively since she was 12. Caitlin played competitively in club volleyball, winning 3 qualifiers in their 2016 season. Caitlin earned all conference and all district awards her senior year at Marquette and is excited to work with the athletes. She's excited to be back at MHS in the volleyball program! Outside of volleyball, Caitlin loves to hike and spend time with family and friends.
Freshman Head Coach
Julia grew up playing volleyball through the Rockwood Thunder volleyball club. She was a 4 year starting varsity setter at Oakville High school, and was the captain of the varsity team from sophomore year to senior year. She took a break from volleyball after high school while she attended Missouri State, where she completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Education (class of 2024). She's starting her second year of teaching seventh grade Language Arts at Rockwood Valley Middle School.
She returned to volleyball by assisting in coaching the boys varsity volleyball team at Eureka High School for their 2025 season, and she plans to return in 2026. She also coaches private lessons through ACE volleyball lab. Her break from volleyball made her return so much sweeter, and she's looking forward to beginning an awesome season for Marquette girl’s volleyball!
